10. Courts have found consolidation appropriate "where separate causes are of the
same nature, involve the same or like issues and depend largely upon the same evidence,
consolidation is not an abuse of discretion." Ad-Ex, 247III.App.3d at 103,617 N.E.2d at 337.
11. "Courts in Illinois favor consolidation of appropriate causes in the interest of
judicial economy since such joinder promotes expedition in the trial of cases and in the
conservation of time, and also allows the court and litigants to avoid duplication of effort and unnecessary expense” Northwest Water Commission v. Carlo V, Santucci, Inc., 162 Ill App.3d
877, 890, 516 N.E.2d 287, 296 (ist Dist. 1987),
12. The captioned cases are appropriate for consolidation because they involve.
overlapping parties and issues of fact and law. Under the circumstances, consolidation preserves
judicial resources and promotes efficiency in the administration of these cases, Consolidation would serve the convenience of the Court and all parties and avoid unnecessary costs and delay.
